Cookie & Analytics Notice
This notice explains essential browser storage and optional analytics or advertising technology used to operate, measure, and improve the website.
Effective date: August 30, 2026
Last updated: September 16, 2026

1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies may store or read information in a browser or device. Some are necessary for basic website functions. Others measure visits, campaigns, form interactions, and conversions.
2. Essential storage
The website uses essential local storage to remember whether you selected “Accept analytics & advertising” or “Essential only.” That preference remains until you change it or clear browser storage. Essential technical logs may also support security, error handling, spam detection, and reliable form delivery.
3. Current technology and vendor inventory
This list reflects the website configuration as of September 16, 2026. Optional services load only after consent and only where configured.
| Technology | Purpose and data | Current status and duration | Choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website preference storage | Stores celena_cookie_consent and celena_linkedin_consent_v1 in this browser so the site remembers your choices. A previous Google/Meta acceptance alone does not enable LinkedIn. | Active and essential; remains until changed or cleared. | Use Cookie Settings or clear browser storage. |
| Form continuity storage | Temporarily stores completed assessment choices and a submission reference so the related form can be prefilled and an interrupted submission can retain the same reference. | Active only for the current browser session; expires when the session ends or browser storage is cleared. | Clear browser session storage. Forms remain available without assessment prefill. |
| Hosting and security infrastructure | Delivers pages and may create limited IP, request, error, and security logs. | Active and essential; successful raw delivery logs target 30 days, while failed-delivery or security logs may be kept up to 90 days. | Required to operate and secure the website. |
| Session attribution | Stores campaign parameters, landing page, and referrer in this browser’s session storage. | Optional; begins only after consent and expires with the browser session. | Select Essential only or withdraw consent. |
| Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads | Measure page use, traffic source, and configured conversion events. | Configured; load only after consent is accepted. Cookie duration depends on the service and browser controls. | Select Essential only, withdraw consent, or use supported browser controls. |
| Meta Pixel | Measures PageView and delivered Lead events for Meta advertising without sending form answers. | Configured; loads only after consent is accepted. Vendor-set cookie duration is controlled by Meta and may change. | Select Essential only, withdraw consent, or use supported browser controls. |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag | On the About page only, sends LinkedIn the page URL, a permitted referrer, IP address, device/browser characteristics, timestamp, and limited page/button interactions. No insurance form answers or contact details are sent by this integration. | Optional and consent-gated. Excluded from insurance, intake, referral, and other pages; also skipped when URLs or referrers contain unapproved paths or parameters. LinkedIn states that direct identifiers are removed within seven days and remaining pseudonymous data within 180 days. Browser cookie duration is controlled by LinkedIn and browser settings. | Select Essential only, withdraw consent, or enable Global Privacy Control. Enhanced matching is not configured. |
| Ringy scheduler | The booking button opens Ringy’s separate website. | Active as an external link only; Ringy is not embedded and does not place its scheduler cookies on this website before you click. | Do not open the scheduler; contact Celena directly instead. |
| Server-side CRM delivery | Sends an inquiry to a dedicated Ringy website lead source after a valid form submission. | Configured as server-to-server processing, not a browser cookie. Automatic initial text, email, and drip settings are disabled for this lead source. | See the Privacy Policy and form consent presented at submission. |
Sensitive form content, medical or financial details, email addresses, and telephone numbers are not approved analytics or advertising event data. The inventory must be reviewed again whenever an identifier, embedded scheduler, chat, replay tool, spam service, CRM route, or conversion gateway is activated.
4. Events that may be measured
Events may include call-to-action clicks, assessment starts and completions, form starts and successful submissions, appointment clicks, partner inquiries, guide downloads, phone clicks, and email clicks. When connected to the CRM, downstream business outcomes may include qualified appointments, applications, placed policies, and partner-generated opportunities.
When optional measurement is accepted, campaign parameters may be retained for the current browser session so an inquiry can remain connected to its original landing visit after the visitor moves between pages.
5. Your choices
You may choose “Essential only” in the cookie banner. You may also clear local storage and cookies through browser settings. Blocking or clearing storage may cause the banner to reappear or affect certain site functions.
Use the persistent “Cookie Settings” control in the website footer to reopen the preference panel and change your selection. Withdrawing analytics consent reloads the page so optional scripts are no longer initialized in the new page lifecycle.
Accepting optional advertising technology may disclose device identifiers, campaign information, and site interactions to Google, Meta, or LinkedIn within the scope described above. Some state laws may treat that as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Choosing “Essential only” opts out of those optional disclosures. Additional request methods appear on Privacy Choices.
6. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
When the website detects an enabled Global Privacy Control signal, it treats the signal as an “Essential only” selection and keeps optional analytics and advertising tools off. Global Privacy Control overrides a stored acceptance while the signal remains enabled.
The website does not separately respond to older “Do Not Track” settings because there is no uniform standard for those signals. You can use Global Privacy Control or the site’s Cookie Settings instead.
7. Third-party policies
When activated or opened, Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Ringy, the hosting provider, CRM, and approved delivery services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms. Their practices are not controlled by this notice. See LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy and Insight Tag guidance. Ringy and server-to-server form recipients are also described in the Privacy Policy.
